Prayer Week

🙏 July 5 to 11 Summer Prayer

Join Us as We Pray Together
The congregation is stepping into an intentional season of prayer, making space to seek God with one heart and one voice. Our guiding scripture is 1 Timothy 2:1-4, which urges us to lift up prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone.
As we gather, we are asking the Lord to shape our hearts, our homes, and our neighborhoods through prayer.

Our Prayer Focus
Our collective prayer focus centers on four areas:
God’s glory to be revealed to people where we live.
God’s kingdom reign and authority to advance in our neighborhoods.
God’s will to be established in perfect obedience where we live.
Courageous leaders for the Kingdom to be raised up.

The Challenge: Choose 3 Exercises
Try at least 3 of these 6 prayer exercises throughout the week. Look over the list below and decide which ones you will commit to!

(1) Exegetical Prayer Walk
Grab a friend or connect with your smaller community to walk through our neighborhoods. Pray with your eyes open to the physical and spiritual needs around you, ‘reading’ the community as you go.

(2) Bonfire Prayer Circle
Sat. July 11 at 7 pm – at church. Join us around the fire for a time of shared prayer, worship, and community connection.

(3) Sunset Point Prayer Circle
Monday, July 6
Time: 8:30 PM (as the sun sets) 30-40 min.
Details: Bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather. If it rains, the gathering will move to the church building.

(4) The Miracle Conversation
Find one person in the city who is not connected to the church, and share this invitation: “Would you be willing to receive prayer? Our church is spending a week praying for our city, and I would love to pray for you.” Give them your phone number, and pray for them throughout the week.

(5) Morning Oikos Map Prayer
First thing in the morning, pray over your Oikos map.

(6) Men’s Prayer Gathering
Wed. July 8 at 7 pm. A dedicated prayer time for the men of our church, meeting together at Sunset Point.
